Biography:

Kamesha has been employed with Jackson State University, her alma mater, for 20 years. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (2002), Master’s in Public Policy & Administration (2006), both from Jackson State University, and a Certificate in Diversity Equity & Inclusion from the University of South Florida Muma College of Business (2021). She is pursuing her doctoral degree in Public Policy & Administration with a concentration in Policy Analysis. Kamesha also serves on the International Collegiate Licensing Association (ICLA) Board, where she serves on the Education and Awards committees. 

In her role, Kamesha serves as the liaison between Jackson State University and the vendors and services provided through Auxiliary Enterprises, which include but are not limited to JSU Dining Services/SodexoMagic@JSU; JSU Campus store/Follett Higher Education Group; Brown Bottling Group/Pepsi; ATM services, JSU Postal Services, Trademark Licensing to name a few. Kamesha is responsible for various innovative programs at Jackson State and has an extensive list of accomplishments.

Her educational background, leadership skills, and experience have helped her increase revenue and expand the services provided to Jackson State University students, faculty staff, alumni, and the community. Kamesha has an unmatched work ethic and believes honesty, integrity, and dependability are one’s most important values.
