Kentucky Castle & Farm Tour | Sunday, July 21

Embark on a delightful journey that celebrates the charm of both our Castle and Farm, followed by a cozy bourbon tasting paired with light bites in our elegant ballroom.
Your adventure begins with a leisurely guided tour of our Castle, where you'll explore its splendid public spaces and lush grounds. Discover the stories woven into every corner as you soak in the beauty of this historic gem.
Next, stroll through our bountiful gardens, a picturesque haven providing fresh ingredients for our farm-to-table restaurant. Learn about our sustainable farming practices and enjoy the tranquil surroundings as you connect with nature.
Your tour will conclude in the ballroom for a bourbon tasting experience. Savor the smooth flavors of carefully selected bourbons, perfectly complemented by light pairings that enhance the tasting journey.
Join us for a delightful blend of history, nature, and indulgence, where every moment promises to be a serene escape from the ordinary.

University of Kentucky Campus Tour | Tuesday, July 23

Join us for a tour of the beautiful University of Kentucky campus. You'll be led by a student tour guide on a 90-minute walking tour of campus. Your tour will include stops at the Gatton Student Center, our campus living room; William T. Young Library, the University's largest library; Jacobs Science Building; a two-bedroom suite in Haggin Hall; Gatton College of Business and Economics; and various other landmarks on campus. This tour is rain or shine, so dress comfortably! Space on the tour is limited; register early!

Cost: $5/person. Please note, lunch is not provided.

Embark on a journey through the heart of Downtown Lexington, where history and farm-to-table flavors intertwine for an evening of fun exploration. The Downtown Walking Food & History Tour invites you to immerse yourself in the vibrant culture and rich heritage of our charming city through iconic landmarks like The Square, Skuller’s Clock, the African American Heritage Trail, and Tandy Centennial Park.

What Awaits You:      

  • Foodie Adventure: Led by a passionate Bites of the Bluegrass ambassador, you’ll savor the experience with two plates and a delectable dessert at our chosen stops.  To enhance your dining experience, hand-crafted cocktails, local beers, and wines will be available for separate purchase.       
  • Historical Journey: You’ll be regaled with inclusive, fascinating accounts from Lexington’s storied past, bringing the city’s history to life in a unique way.
  • Tour Details: A leisurely two-hour stroll, covering less than one mile of shaded pathways.

Option 2 - Discover the Distilleries of Lexington: Distillery District Walking Food & History Tour

Pepper Distillery! A legendary third-generation distiller, Pepper’s namesake property was established in 1880 to continue his family’s iconic brand. Once the largest distillery in the United States, today the camps has been thoughtfully reimagined as a bustling hub for bourbon and music enthusiasts.

  • Bourbon Adventure: Led by a passionate Bites of the Bluegrass ambassador, you’ll visit four distinctive businesses, ranging from modern eateries to storied distilleries that echo the spirited legacy of Colonel Pepper.  You’ll savor two delicious small plates, a refreshing cider, and a bourbon tasting that exemplifies Kentucky’s rich distilling traditions.
  • Historical Journey: Enjoy a narrative filled with engaging, well-researched stories from Lexington’s illustrious past, peppered with humor and insight that will bring the city’s history to life. 
  • Tour Details: A two-hour celebration of history and culture with little walking involved

Option 3 - Discover the Cocktails of Lexington: Cocktails + Bites Drinking History Tour

Immerse yourself on a spirited journey through Lexington’s downtown scene as we relax and indulge in the art of craft cocktail making, filtered through Kentucky’s inherited limestone waters.  As you savor the flavors of expertly mixed cocktails, your knowledgeable guide will unveil the intoxicating tales of Kentucky’s storied drinking past.

  • Cocktail Sipping Adventure: Led by a passionate Bites of the Bluegrass ambassador, you’ll visit three of downtown’s most inviting lounges, each with its own unique atmosphere and mixology magic.  You’ll enjoy two appetizers and four craft cocktails designed to delight your taste buds and provide a deeper connection to the local lore.
  • Historical Journey: Be regaled with stories from Lexington’s rich historical tapestry, learning about the traditions and events that have shaped the city’s vibrant drinking culture 
  • Tour Details: A two-hour sipping stroll that stays within the same block for minimum walking and maximum enjoyment.

Alternate Payment for Add-Ons

If you would like to add tour tickets, guest tickets, or merchandise items to your registration, there are options to pay for them with a separate payment method. All you have to do is log back into our registration portal using your email and the Confirmation Code or Registrant ID which can be found in your confirmation email from info@eventproducers.events. Here you can adjust your registration details, access and print your class schedule, and add on any additional items, which will prompt the option to pay with a different payment method.
