Course Description:
This course will provide an introduction to the business of higher education. Higher Education as a business is a fascinating mix of non-profit mission, economic factors of supply and demand, management strategies, and service line (athletics, housing, research, medicine, etc) management. The course will address the macro factors facing the industry (population and demographic change) and the analysis of the financial health of colleges and universities.
