Bryan Erslan is the Executive Director of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships at the University of Kentucky. Bryan has served in this capacity since December 1, 2024. He has worked in higher education for more than 35 years, with over 31 of the years in financial aid and scholarships. Bryan has been at the director level since 2002 at 5 institutions, Berea College, Lincoln Memorial University, Eastern Kentucky University, The Ohio State University and now at the University of Kentucky.
He has volunteered throughout his career at the state, regional and national level serving in numerous roles. He was elected President of the Kentucky Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (KASFAA) association in 2007-2008; elected President of the Southern Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (SASFAA) in 2018-2019 and served on the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NASFAA) Board of Directors for the 2019-2020 year.
Bryan received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Union College, in Barbourville, KY and a Master of Science degree in Education – Higher Education Administration from the University of Dayton, is Dayton, OH.
Bryan has been married to his wife of 34 years, Micki. They have raised four children and now have been blessed with 5 grandchildren! In his spare time, Bryan enjoys spending time with family, traveling and playing golf.
