Colorado Robertson is the Assistant Vice President for Risk Management at Louisiana State University (LSU). In this role, Colorado is responsible for the University’s risk management programs. Prior, Colorado has served as Director of Risk Management at Mississippi State University (MSU) and Adjunct Lecturer in the MSU Risk Management and Insurance program. Prior to that, Colorado was part of the Louisiana State University (LSU) community for more than eighteen years as a student and as a leader of many of the University’s risk management initiatives, serving many roles in the University’s Office of Risk Management. Colorado coordinated the exit of LSU’s insurance programs from the Louisiana State Office of Risk Management and the creation of LSU risk financing programs, resulting in significant savings for the University. As a result, Colorado was named a 2016 Risk All-Star by the Risk and Insurance Magazine. Colorado also serves as a member of the University Risk Management and Insurance Associations (URMIA) Board of Directors.
