AVP, University Risk & Compliance Officer

As Kansas State University's Risk and Compliance Officer, Elliot leads the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) program and risk assessment process, manages the property and casualty insurance program, and provides ongoing risk management guidance and support to the university community. He is committed to fostering a risk-aware culture throughout the university and embedding effective, efficient, and ethical risk management practices into the university's academic and business operations.  Before Kansas State, Elliot was a Risk Management Specialist at Cornell University where he led various risk management initiatives, and a Risk Management Specialist at Praesidium, Inc. where he youth-serving organizations on best practices for protecting minors.  He holds a bachelor's degree from Texas Christian University (TCU), a master's degree from the University of Kansas, and a Juris Doctor Degree from Oklahoma City University.
