Erik Jarvis serves as a Senior Administrator for Smart Campus at the University of Kentucky, where he helps connect technology, student engagement, partnerships, and campus innovation. With more than 20 years of experience in Information Technology, project management, and cross-functional collaboration, Erik has worked across university departments, business partners, and community groups to turn emerging ideas into practical campus experiences.
His work with UK Esports and the Cornerstone building has focused on building partnerships that create shared value: supporting students, strengthening community engagement, activating campus spaces, and connecting institutional goals with industry and community opportunities. Through projects involving esports programming, digital engagement, student technology initiatives, and collaborative events, Erik has helped demonstrate how thoughtful partnerships can expand a university’s reach beyond traditional boundaries.
At CBMI, Erik will speak on the value of partnerships at the University of Kentucky, drawing from his experience helping develop and sustain collaborative initiatives that bring together technology, place, people, and purpose.
