Interim Director of Institutional Risk Management

Gretchen Fitzgerald is the Interim Director of Risk Management for Syracuse University. In addition to the traditional risk management responsibilities, she helped adopt an Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework and is responsible for the day to day operations of the Syracuse University ERM program. Prior to working in Risk Management and Regulatory Compliance, Gretchen worked at the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs where she also earned an Executive Masters in Public Administration degree. Gretchen also holds a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Niagara University and a Juris Doctorate from Hofstra University Law School.
