Lisa Deal retired in June, 2023 from serving as the Assistant Vice President and Chief Procurement Officer for University of Florida (UF), in Gainesville. In her role, Lisa was responsible for over 750 million dollars a year in purchases plus the PCard program, with purchases of another 50 million annually. UF issues over 90,000 Purchase order a year with just over 216,000 PCard transactions. UF Procurement issued over 30 public solicitations Lisa's last fiscal year, and calculated cost avoidance and savings of over seven million dollars. In addition to Procurement, Lisa was responsible for the Chief Financial Officer Shared Service Center, who process a mix of HR and/or fiscal transactions for 24 units across campus. Lisa has previous experience working in purchasing in the corporate sector.
