Biography:

Susan currently serves as Managing Director for the Treasury Institute for Higher Education and Senior Fellow for the Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education. She retired from the University of Kentucky in 2020 following 21 years of service, the last six of which she served as UK’s Treasurer. Susan joined UK with a diverse financial background in corporate finance, public accounting, and internal auditing. Susan remains engaged in the higher education industry through her work with the Treasury Institute and CPE, and by serving as a faculty member for the College Business Management Institute and a mentor for the UK Gatton College of Business & Economics Women Business Leaders program. Susan is also active in her community, serving on the UK Sanders-Brown Center on Aging Philanthropy Council, Bank of the Bluegrass Advisory Board and the Bluegrass Community Foundation Board and Investment Committee. Susan holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Accounting and Business Administration and is licensed as a certified public accountant in Kentucky.
